Ballindalloch Fishing Beats – Scottish Fly Fishing Paintings

Ballindalloch Fishing Beats - Scottish Fly Fishing Paintings. Over 20 years I have painted many of the fine Speyside estate fishing beats from Tulchan estate, Arndilly and one of my regulars the Ballindalloch Castle estate. Pleasurable days are spent on the river with clients, sketching and photographing. These are then developed in the art studio to create a painting as a memory of the clients days on the river. From the landscape to hopefully a catch of the famous Scottish salmon. For more details about fly fishing painting commissions please email the studio.

Fishing at Ballindalloch - Two great Scottish Highland rivers converge at Ballindalloch Estate. The River Spey, springing from a small loch in the Monadhliath Mountains, is the second longest river in Scotland and indisputably the fastest. The River Avon, the longest tributary of the Spey, has its source some thirty eight miles distant upon the summit of Ben Muich Dhui. Both rivers are renowned for their clean and crystalline waters and healthy stocks of salmon and sea trout. For more details about fishing please contact Ballindalloch Estate.
